1. Independent Contractor Status. Contractor is an independent contractor, not an employee of Owner. Contractor is responsible for all taxes, insurance, and compliance with IRS regulations (see IRS.gov Publication 15-A).
2. Insurance. Contractor carries general liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and workers’ compensation where required by state law. Certificates available upon request.
3. Warranty. Contractor warrants all workmanship for two (2) years from completion against peeling, blistering, or chipping due to improper application. Normal wear, homeowner damage, or structural issues are excluded.
4. Force Majeure. Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by weather, acts of God, material shortages, or other events beyond reasonable control.
